Sometimes, people ask me, "Are you mad? Why did you do it? You are crazy!" etc.
At times, I do ask myself, "Vinay, Why are you doing this? I know you are mad. Doing this will make you even more mad. Stop doing it. Be a normal human and don't do it. What will you gain? You'll hurt yourself even more. People will be least bothered about you after this. Do you think they'll ever care? Stop it!"
But then my mind also tells me, "Do it, buddy. I'm with you. After all what the worst could happen? It may hurt you but then you need to understand pain right? What use is your life, if you do what everybody else does. You need to be unique. As long as you feel good, do it. People might laugh at you and let them laugh. They may never understand you today. But tomorrow hopefully they'll realise what you did was perhaps truly different."
This is the reason why I do some crazy stuff. It makes me feel good inside. It makes me stand out from the crowd, if i can be a little proud now. I just don't want to follow the crowd in everything. I just want to stand aside, be apart and let others watch me.
Recently, I was chatting with a colleague of mine who lives in the UK. Whilst chatting, she said, "You are an unique person." I truly agreed to this and told her that I like to do these stuff for later in life I don't want to regret for not doing them. She too agreed and said the following.
I quote "I got told when I was younger than on people's death bed they always say "I wish I had.....", they never say "I wish I hadn't....." so make sure you do all you can while you can, live life to the full, experience it and enjoy it. Best piece of advice the younger me got given :-D" I unquote
I truly agree with her statement. Tomorrow, when I pass on to another world where no one returns, I would like my friends, my love, my family to remember me for all the unusual stuff I did (either for them or for self or just for the heck of it) and say "I bet Vinay was the only one who had ever did this. No one ever imagined to do it. Miss that idiot now."
This is the only reason why I do such stuff. Be unique, just like everyone else.
